YEAR 11 STUDENTS COMMENCE WEDNESDAY 1ST FEBRUARY 2012 YEAR 12 STUDENTS COMMENCE FRIDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2012 As part of the Catholic School System we receive our mandate from the Bishop of Maitland-Newcastle and within that the College is administered according to Diocesan Education Policy and shaped by the Marist Tradition of Education. Parents willl be receiving via post a letter regarding payment details for the Year 11 1:1 Laptop Program in 2012. The purpose of this notice is to outline the rollout process and so that parents may budget for this cost for the start of the school year in 2012. The handing out of laptops will occur during the first 2 weeks of school. The following is the roll out process that will occur at St. Francis Xavier’s College in 2012: · Parents/carers will need to pay $180.00* to the Admin/Finance office before the distribution. · This may be paid on Tuesday 24th or Wednesday 25th January 2012 by coming into the College Admin Office - cash or cheque. · On Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd February 2012 only cash or cheque will be accepted. Laptops will be distributed initially on Thursday 2nd February immediately after Student ID photos have been taken.
